I love a good trip to the movies, so I took my camera along to Marcus Palace Cinema to see Wicker and turned it into a quick video. If you want the trip and my take, you can watch it here. If you’d rather read, here’s the short version.

The trip

My husband and I decided to check out this theater to take advantage of seeing the movie on a bigger screen. (It didn’t hurt that the showtimes at Palace worked out well with all the Wisconsin sports games taking place that weekend.) After grabbing my go-to large popcorn, we settled into our recliners to enjoy the show.

My spoiler-free take

Wicker was such a good time! I worried that the entire story was told in the (many) trailers I watched, but the story took a direction I truly didn’t expect. I also really appreciated the casting; everyone really took to their roles and the diversity of the actors was refreshing.

Should you see it?

Absolutely–see it in theaters if you can, and stream it later if you can’t!
